I started Simple Solutions because providers deserve better than being put on hold.
Before founding Simple Solutions in 2020, I spent years working for an insurance company specializing in behavioral health. My job touched benefits, claims, and specialized lines of business, which meant I spent a lot of time on the phone with providers who were frustrated, confused, and often just trying to understand why they hadn't been paid.
What bothered me most was what that time was costing them. Every hour a provider spent navigating insurance was an hour they weren't spending with patients. And after all of it, they still weren't guaranteed to get paid.
I mentioned to my boss one day that it irritated me, that providers were spending so much time on hold instead of in session. She looked at me and said: so start a billing business.
So I did.
My goal has always been simple: handle as much of the tedious administrative work as possible so that providers can focus entirely on the people who need their care. That's what Simple Solutions does every day.
